Chile Mission Trip

If Jesus tarries, I am going to

Chile – June 26-July 6, 2025

I am going with Global Ventures!

https://globalventures.tv/

It costs $3,450 to go!

After landing in Peru, we will travel to Chile and then split into small teams for training and ministry. You’ll visit schools, villages, bustling markets, and streets to share the Gospel using drama and interactive visual aids.

In the evenings, we will participate in city-wide family festivals organized by Global Ventures. We will then engage in hands-on service projects providing essentials like water filters, food, and hygiene packages. This is our chance to make a real impact!

So I am excited about this opportunity because I took Spanish for seven years in school and I can speak Spanish fairly well, – enough to have a conversation and share my faith in Jesus Christ

Chile Trip Overview   Languages: Spanish

Population: 20 million

Language: Spanish

Religion: Catholic

Evangelical Christian: 23%

Dry & Cool Season

We will break into small teams during ministry and share the Gospel in schools, villages, markets, and streets. In the evening we will host city-wide family festivals (crusades) in public spaces. We will also be helping to enrich communities through service projects. We will venture into two regions to bring the Gospel to these precious people. Team members will have connecting flights to a U.S. city and fly together with the Global Ventures staff to Chile.

Years ago, I loved to go on Mission Trips.  When I worked at the Abundant Life Prayer Group at Oral Roberts Ministries, at the Abundant Life Prayer Group, after praying 40 hours a week (which was a lot of spiritual work!) I had no desire to go anywhere.  But now I work for Liberty University from home in Rolla, MO as a New Enrollment Specialist and go to church here in Waynesville, MO at The River (pastored by Howie & Melanie Malone –  www.theriver.net)

My book:  “I Want to Witness, But What Do I Say?”  is a wonderful took for witnessing. I have also given out hundreds of tracts that I created at Fort Leonard Wood Army base on various holidays  (Halloween Thanksgiving Christmas, Valentine’s St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day & 4th of July, and  Labor Day).  A dozen soldiers have given their hearts to the Lord this year and prayed a Salvation Prayer after me there!  I give Him all the glory!

In the past, I have gone on  these  7 Short-Term ( a week to 10 days)  MISSIONS TRIPS:

1.  Nicaragua  –  went  with (evangelical) Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC  in August 1992

2.  Sierra Leone, W. Africa –  with Rev. Russ Tatro – Living Word Missions in March 1994

3.  Sierra Leone & Liberia, W. Africa – Living Word/Mike Francen Ministries in November  1995

4.  Guatemala – with Victory World Missions Training Center class –  in  July 1996

5.  Nigril, Jamaica – taught in a Bible School there founded by Dr. Clive Wilson in  November 2002

6.  Lahore, Pakistan – taught “Fruits of the Spirit” in the 1st Victory Bible Institute   in October 2003

7. Paraguay with Global Ventures in June 2024.  Our whole group was able to get over 17, 400  saved!

So I have a lot of experience on the Mission Field.  In 1996, I even went to Victory World Mission Training Center to get trained to become a missionary.  It was a long time ago, but I still have such a desire to go to the nations!

“I Want to Witness, But What Do I Say to a Suicidal Person?”

“I Want to Witness, But What Do I Say to a Suicidal Person?”

God loves you and He wants you to live. Your life is a gift from God. He gave it to you and He wants you to keep it. You may feel so crushed from your circumstances, but God can make all things new. Isaiah 43:18–19 “Remember not the former things nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing…I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says: “I know the thoughts and the plans that I have for you. They are good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Life is like a puzzle. God can see the whole picture from His view, but you can only see a few puzzle pieces. Trust in God to put all the pieces together in His way and in His timing. What you are going through is temporary.

Don’t Be Mad at God. God is on your side. Be mad at the devil that influences people’s sinful acts, to reject you and abuse you and hurt you. This is not God’s will. The devil is a liar who will cause people to sin against you and then tell you that it was God’s fault or His will to build a wall between you. But Jesus says in John 10:10: “The thief (the devil) comes not, but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I Am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” So bad things come from the devil and good things come from God. Do not get it mixed up. God is a good God.

Remember that God gave everyone a free will because love is not truly love unless it is freely given. God wanted His creation to freely love Him. Robots have no choice, so they can’t give true love. God knew that giving His creation a free will was a risk, but He also knew it was the only way to reach out to people with His love.  Many times people do not receive Jesus as Lord and instead they use their free will to sin against God and others. This grieves God.  He is angry with those who mistreat His children and desires to bring justice.

Forgive those who have hurt you. Now that is not letting them off the hook. It is putting them on God’s hook. It is taking your hands off the situation and allowing God’s hands to intervene and fight for you. After you forgive, then stand on Romans 12:19: “’Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Unforgiveness is sin and it builds a wall between you and God (Matthew 6:14). When you forgive those who have hurt you and trust the Lord, He will right the wrongs that have been done to you and turn things around (Mark 11:25). God will bless you with hope in His Presence, His comfort, love, peace and joy as you sing and worship Him. Forgiving others sets you free.

You are not a failure. Because God is God, He can make plan B even better than what plan A ever would have been. God never fails. Romans 8:28 says: “All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Give God time to move on your behalf. Be patient (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Life is like a movie. Trust in God’s love to bring your happy ending.

Choose to Live for the Lord. Friends come and go, divorce happens, parents and children can prematurely die, so we cannot live for them. Our true purpose is to live for the Lord. God needs you! The harvest is plenteous and the laborers are few. Living for the Lord means finding and fulfilling your God–given purpose, loving people, walking in the fruits of the spirit, witnessing to the lost, and giving to or going on mission trips. Living for the Lord is overcoming evil with good. It is turning people who are heading for hell around towards God’s love and eternal life in heaven.

Salvation Prayer: “Heavenly Father, I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent of my sinful suicidal thoughts. Jesus, I ask You to forgive me and come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for saving me from hell and giving me eternal life in heaven, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
