Description of Tract:

This tract starts with Adam and Eve explaining how they sinned in the garden and goes on to Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. He was fully God and fully man. Many people think that God does not love them because of the bad things that have happened to them or because someone grossly mistreated them, but that does not mean that God does not love you. It means that someone used their God-given free will to listen to the devil instead of God and thus mistreated or abused you.
In order to explain how much God loves you, first of all you have to understand the terrible tragic problem that Jesus solved for all mankind.  Adam and Eve sinned in the garden by disobeying God and eating the forbidden fruit. This formed a wall between them and God so that they nor their descendants (all of us!) could no longer get to heaven. Their destiny was hell.  But God send His son Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood on the cross at Calvary paid the price for our sins so that we could be reconciled with God and have a relationship with God again. The tracts ends with:   You can know that God loves you because:  He has forgiven you. He is paying attention to you. He calls you His son or daughter. He thinks you are the most valuable thing around. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. The tract then quotes Jeremiah 31:3 and Romans 5:8.   It has a Salvation Prayer on the back and space to put in your Church, Pastor’s name and Church address, website and phone.
