Gay Christian Movement is Wrong

In Joe Dallas’ book, A Strong Delusion he writes about the “Gay Christian movement” which has risen up and yet, that is a false religion because they have misinterpreted the scriptures to mean what they want them to mean to perpetuate their “alternative lifestyle.” They rationalize that it is not sinful because God created them this way.

The say that Jesus never said anything about homosexuality, but the truth is all scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16

Christ’s silence in no way negates the very specific prohibitions against it which appear else where in both the old and New Testaments.

Those in the Gay Christians movement deceptively say:  “I am a born-again believer and I am gay and God loves me, which is living proof that you can be both.”

This is an illogical argument.  It assumes that if one is a Christian and if one is loved by God, then what one DOES must be all right in  God’s sight. This thinking is wrong, rebellious, deceptive and ignorant and hypocritical. The focus needs to be on what the Bible says instead of their experiences. (Dallas    )

If the homosexual says he is a Christian and continues in sin, then he is a hypocrite and he is dishonoring God.  He is making false pretences, pretending to love and serve God when he does not.  Not even trying to be healed of homosexuality and turn away from it and instead just saying: “I am a homosexual and I am a Christian” is insincere and hypocritical because you are pretending to obey God and love, serve, and worship Him, when you do not.

The truth is that Christianity and homosexuality are not compatible.  In Acts 5, Ananias and Saphira were believers and yet their sin of hypocrisy cost them their lives. In other words, being a Christian is no indication that your life if pleasing to God.

Even the gifts of the spirit operating does not indicate His approval.  The Corinthians church operated in the gifts of the spirit and they were carnal..  They were carnal and full of divisions (1 Corinthians 3:3-4, incest was openly committed among them (5:1-5).  They were hauling each other to court (6:1-3)

Yes, God’s Presence was there, but did He approve of their behavior?  Certainly not.  It says in Romans 11:29 that His gifts and calling are without repentance.  It may be a sign of God’s grace, but not a sign of his approval.

This erroneous thinking has gained even more credence in their eyes because the liberal Supreme Court justices legalized gay and lesbian marriage on June 26, 2015 by a vote of 5-4, but it will never be legal or right in the eyes of God because the Word of God does not change.

Do not be swayed by the American Psychiatric Association either because the truth is homosexuality is not normal. In 1973 American Psychiatric Association, under remarkable duress in an intimidating environment by gay demonstrators, demanded that homosexuality be removed from their DSM of mental disorders.  Thus the gay activists claim they are “normal.” These hard core homosexuals are mainly the ones that have boldly and loudly pushed for “their civil rights” of same sex marriage and the ability to adopt children and have a “family” and for same sex education in the schools as an “alternative lifestyle.”  . But we cannot see inside his soul to determine how hardened, backslidden or deceived he may be. If he died suddenly, he may go to hell.  Only God knows
