The Laborer is Worthy of Their Wages

Why $15.00?   I was thinking that with $10 a prophetic word, I may get too many and be overwhelmed with the demand and $20 may be too much for those who are really hurting and need an encouraging prophetic  word, so I settled on $15.00.   Some Christians believe that it is OK to give their tithes to their local church to their Pastor, or give an offering to an evangelist or missionary, but they do not believe in giving offerings to a person with a strong accurate Prophetic gift, but the Word of God says differently.  Since the Word of God is used when I  prophesy,  it is literally preaching God’s Word in a targeted format – straight to the persons heart right from the throne of God.  It is powerful, edifyng, enouraging and comforting.

I appreciate your financial support because I am not rich by any means.  I drive a 1999 toyota camry, live in a two bedroom, 970 square foot house and buy my clothes usually at thrift stores.   My husband and I always tithe to our local church and we also support a little girl in Mexico through World Vision and support a military ministry.   We have very little in savings.  If I had extra money, I would buy more more of my books, so that I could give them away and buy a better piano keyboard with a MIDI (because I am learning to play the piano for worship services and God has given me songs that I want to record) and I would have moneyn for neded repairs to my home and give nicer gifts to my family for Christmas and their birthdays and save to go on Missions trips to spread the gospel.

1 Timothy 5:17-18 AMP  17 The elders who perform their leadership duties well are to be considered worthy of double honor (financial support), especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching [the word of God concerning eternal salvation through Christ]. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain [to keep it from eating],” and, “The worker is worthy of his wages [he deserves fair compensation].”

Women ministers are worthy of financial blessing just like men are –
Galatians 3:28 –   28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
By God’s grace, His will and His anointing,  I am a prophetess and in the Bible the people gave gifts to the prophets.  If they did not have a gift to give to a prophet, they worried about it because they knew that a gift was expected.
 1 Samuel 9:6-10  6But the servant replied, “Look, in this town there is a man of God; he is highly respected, and everything he says comes true. Let’s go there now. Perhaps he will tell us what way to take.” 7Saul said to his servant, “If we go, what can we give the man? The food in our sacks is gone. We have no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?” 8The servant answered him again. “Look,” he said, “I have a quarter of a shekela of silver. I will give it to the man of God so that he will tell us what way to take.” 9(Formerly in Israel, if someone went to inquire of God, they would say, “Come, let us go to the seer,” because the prophet of today used to be called a seer.) 10“Good,” Saul said to his servant. “Come, let’s go.” So they set out for the town where the man of God was.
1 Kings 13:7  Then the king said to the man of God, “Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.”
1 Kings 14:3 “Take ten loaves with you, some cakes and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will happen to the boy.”

2 Kings 5:5  Then the king of Aram said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” He departed and took with him ten talents of silver and six thousand shekels of gold and ten changes of clothes.2 Kings 5:15  When he returned to the man of God with all his company, and came and stood before him, he said, “Behold now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel; so please take a present from your servant now.”2 Kings 8:8  The king said to Hazael, “Take a gift in your hand and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD by him, saying, ‘Will I recover from this sickness?'” 9 So Hazael went to meet him and took a gift in his hand, even every kind of good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ loads; and he came and stood before him and said, “Your son Ben-hadad king of Aram has sent me to you, saying, ‘Will I recover from this sickness?’

Bible Verses About Giving:

Luke 6:38  Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.

Deuteronomy 15:10  Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8  Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

Deuteronomy 16:17  Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you.

Philippians 4:15-17  And you yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone; for even in Thessalonica you send a gift more than once for my needs. Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

Acts 20:35  In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.

2 Corinthians 9:10  Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;
